Visioning Day 20th Jan 2017.

A great turn out at this year’s Visioning Day!

Thank you to all those that joined us. We felt the day was positive and future focused. The Trustees spent the afternoon reviewing completed questionnaires and discussing the ideas shared. It looks as if the year ahead will be an exciting one. Trustees will maintain their focus of providing and developing services to support disadvantaged children and young people in our Child First Schools.

All paperwork from the day can be found under the Minutes and Agenda tab. If you are unable to remember your Child First password please email Thank you.

Primary Counselling Opportunity

Partnership work with Child First Trust 2016-2017

The Trustees of Child First Trust are seeking to commission a one-year therapeutic intervention service for children and young people between the ages of 4-11 years old. It is hope that this service would continue subsequently, subject to funding.

The young people would all be students of Child First Schools and would be referred by their schools.

We have allocated £25,000 for this project (inclusive of any VAT applicable) and would be keen to know if your organisation would be interested in delivering this work on behalf of Child First Trust and, if so, the way you feel that our objectives can best be achieved with your organisation. In particular we would to know the hours of direct delivery, the type of intervention and the proposed methods of evaluation that would enable a full evaluation of impact to be achieved. Trustees are keen to know any plans your organisation might propose in terms of reporting back to both schools and Child First Trust.

In order to ensure parity of responses between organisations the Trustees request that interested organisations complete the linked Primary School Counseling Tender Response and return this to myself, by Friday 18th June.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to call or email me. (078899 35248/ 01206 252152)

Kind regards,

Sacha Brakenbury

Associate Director, CSN CIC. On behalf of Child First Trust.

Welcome to the online home of Child First Trust.

We are an education charity based in North East Essex, formerly Child First LDG (Local Delivery Group) and we exist to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children in our member schools.  Child First has gone from strength to strength and in 2014 we became a charity in our own right, providing a wide range of services to support children and families from our member schools.

Our member schools are able to access a wide range of services including speech therapy, family support and mental health services.

We believe that Child First is collaborative working at its very best. We have clear ambitions for the future and strive to provide programmes that really do make a difference. To find out more please navigate the tabs above or call us on 0845 463 1342.
