Child First PLUS is delighted to welcome CrossFit Iceni Kids and Gymnastics to the Child First PLUS portfolio.
CrossFit are able to offer a range of sports development sessions for children and young people. These would be offered to Child First Schools by Emma Robinson, Founder and Head Coach of CrossFit Iceni Kids and Gymnastics.

Emma holds the following qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies, CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids. She also has her Safeguarding Level 2 Qualification awarding body and date: Suffolk county Council – Suffolk Early years & Childcare (CPD) August 2016
In either group or individual settings children and teens participate in fun, engaging workouts that deliver measurable results. Whilst encouraging children to develop a love for fitness the programme also supports the development of their neurological, cognitive and Motor skills. All sessions are specifically designed for Children and Teenagers with programmes written to suit specific needs and requirements. Emma’s sessions also incorporate heath and wellbeing as amongst other aspects of learning.

The programme will always offer a variety of activities to enable children and young people to constantly learn new skills, keep them motivated, make progress and have fun! Focusing on fun and playing games to disguise physical activity and the introduction of CrossFit body weight movements and lift movement patterns. Key Stage One will use no load during these classes – only items like bean bags, balls, cones, ropes for marking purposes and cue cards. Key Stage 2 classes will introduce students to some of the foundation movements of CrossFit in a fun environment. Learning some of the basic movements such as squats, deadlifts, presses and burpees.
