This group offers termly network meetings to focus on areas identified for professional development and support.

The first MDA Network meeting was extremely well supported. Delegates had, between them, clocked up almost 100 years of lunch time service to our schools! It was refreshing to  share their experiences, discuss the challenges they face in their roles and share their success stories. Their honesty and openness led to some great discussions and lots of positive ideas were shared. The ideas shared have been collated and will form the basis of a Child First MDA Manual.

Network Meeting Two will focus on ‘Lunch Time Charters’ and the use of Positive Behaviour Management Strategies. We will make sure that, if any new people join us, that the second session is ‘stand alone.’ We will briefly recap on the areas already discussed and then move on to consider a wide range of strategies to improve and enhance the lunchtime experience.
