Child First is pleased to be in a position to support its member schools through the provision of an accessible translation service. We recognise the challenges that families, without English as a first language, can face when moving to the UK. By providing effective translation services at critical points we hope to improve the outcomes of children and young people at Child First schools.

A growing number of translators are now available to all member schools. Our translators are able to attend induction meetings, key family focused meetings and to support with ad-hoc issues as they arise.  Translators are generally paid at an hourly rate of £15 per hour.
